جی.کی.رولینگ مفتخر به دریافت جایزه سال 2007 Rave شد. این جایزه، به 22 شخصیت متمایز و برجسته اعطا میشود، که "توانسته اند قبل از تغییر دادن تفریحات در فناوری، تجارت یا فرهنگ، خودشان را تغییر دهند."
مراسم اعطای جوایز در شهر سان فرانسیسکو، امروز صبح انجام شد، اما متاسفانه جی.کی در آن حضور پیدا نکرد.
